Cant update Google Maps

Everytime i try to update it downloads then says "package file was not signed correctly". Everything else downloads and updates fine.

Are you running a theme that perhaps has a themed version of Google maps? When you go menu=>settings=>applications, is unknown sources checked? If not check that and see if it will update. If that doesn't help go menu=>settings=>applications=>manage applications=>all, find Market, click on it and clear cache.
