I know they have the portrait and landscape dock for the GN, but does anyone know if when docked, you get a multimedia type of screen? Or does the regular screen stay on? Not sure if those multimedia screens are part of skins or part of the OS? The videos that I've seen of the docks don't seem to show the phone switching modes when docked.

I'm pretty sure the screen doesn't change when docked. Does anyone happen to know if Verizon offers a landscape dock that charges using the 3 pins on the side of the phone? I know there's one sold for the GSM version, but I didn't know if it'll fit the LTE Nexus. Plus it's really pricey.

Try Alarm Clock Plus. I haven't had a chance to try it on my Nexus yet, but it was great on my last phone. And it's free.
