Hey Guys, I put together a roundup of some of the cases that are out there for the Galaxy Nexus. It is by no means definitive, and I'm sure there are hundreds of reviews that I missed that are on other forums. I did not do any of these reviews, and I take no credit for them.

It really depends if I was looking for overall durability or was still trying to keep some of the original characteristics of the phone.

Based on what I've seen....

If I was going for best durability, and didn't mind that the bottom of the case doesn't quite snap together: Otterbox Defender

If I'm leaning toward looks (which I probably would), then I would probably go with the Seidio Surface Case and Holster. Remember that the Seidio holster may work with some other cases, so that may give you more overall options.

Are there any high quality vertical pouches for it yet, ala Beyza or Fortte? I won't use the snap-on-the-back things or holsters. I never use screen protectors anymore.

awesome though most only show standard battery. was looking at the incipio, but they only did standard battery i think. they didn't mention which battery they were using.

There is a video showing the Incipio SILICRYLIC with the extended battery (listed as Incipio SILICRYLIC vs Diztronic). It looks like the fit is alright, but not completely flush like it would be with the stock battery cover. You might consider looking under the "Mod's" section and seeing how one user modified the SILICRYLIC to be quite a bit more flush with the extended battery.

If you're still concerned about it, try going into the Verizon store. They should let you try the cases on your phone before you buy them.

By the way, I have no affiliation with the guy over on XDA forums who has made the same type of thread.

I am more than a little bit suspicious of him just copying and pasting a majority of what I've done, however. Oh well, that's the internet.

From what I have read, it looks like it does. However, I've not physically had it on my phone. It also depends how closely you are going to scrutinize the gaps and how flush the case is. Something like half a mm might be good enough for one person, but entirely unacceptable for another.

I ordered the red Sena case just now. They should ship soon. For what it's worth I had one of those for my Pearl with the extended Seidio battery that had a slightly thicker door, and because it was a pretty soft case it still fit the phone.
