We still don't have a proper desktop dock. Because of this, none of us know which case will be compatible with it when it comes out - if it comes out - and if it doesn't makes the 3-pin connection on the phone completely worthless.

If I buy a case now, it might not fit in the dock once it comes out. If it takes them 3 months to get the dock out that's 3 months I'm using this thing without a case. I think a proper mashing of the keyboard is in order.

Are you wanting the dock just for the docks purposes, or just to have it hold your phone up for a bedside clock? Cause I just got an EZStand. Works fine for the phone sitting on bedside mode and it was cheap to. Will work with almost any case.

I just want the landscape dock so I can utilize the hardware that was given to me. Half the reason I bought this thing was because the three prongs make it so I'm not scratching up my phone as I look for the microusb port in the dark at 3 in the morning. Why on earth this dock wasn't ready for launch with a phone that was delayed internally multiple times is just beyond my comprehension.

It was a pretty big factor for me too (though maybe not half the reason). I agree, the lack of any Verizon accessory that utilizes the contact points is frustrating. I picked up a gel case to use for now, hopefully soon I can decide what other options I'll have.
