Wireless wrist-mounted remote control for music?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a wireless wrist-mounted control for the Nexus (or for Android in general). Basically, I'd keep my phone in my bag with some sort of wireless/bluetooth adapter and have a remote on my wrist (or in my pocket) to control the music.

which works pretty well.

The closest thing I could find is the Sony LiveView but from what I've read it's not very good quality.

Anyone know of something similar? (also preferably on the cheaper side)

Look for a Motorola T505. I have one in my truck. It works with my nexus via Bluetooth and transmits a radio signal to my stereo. You can also use the t505 as a speaker itself. It removes from the clip and you can skip sounds directly on the unit. As well as pause and play.

The T505 might be rather large to mount on the wrist. I have a Jabra BT3030:

It wirelessly controls the phone pause, play and skip. You can plug heaphones into the BT3030 or leave it plugged into you phone and control it with the BT3030.

There is also the Jabra Clipper that I think is very similar. I haven't tried one personally but I think it works the same way:

There is also the MotoActiv watch but it is pricey and I think limited in features. More oriented specifically for exercise:

I am waiting for the Sony Smartwatch. Not only can you control your music you can read messages, get notifications, accept a call, make calls and more:

Thanks for the info everyone. I looked into the Motoactv before and it is pricey and I think it's for Droid phones only (not sure). The Sony Smartwatch looks good, but there's no release date, and knowing sony, it may be pricey as well. The Jabra STREET2 looks promising, doing exactly what I would like. I rarely get calls when I'm boarding or mountain biking, so the complaints of interference/low volume during calls don't bother me.

I'm sure I could engineer some sort of wrist strap so I can wear it around my wrist wirelessly with the headphones directly connected to my phone in my bag or pocket.

dss2000, are you using it with a Galaxy Nexus and you haven't had any problems with it (pairing, etc)? EDIT ADD: Also some have complained of a constant hiss during music, do you have that problem?

I have the Jabra BT3030. On Amazon they call it the STREET2.

It's basically a BT remote shaped and worn like a dogtag. You plug in your headphones and can control play and pause, volume, track skipping. It even has a built in mic so you can take calls with your headphones on.

I haven't noticed any hiss and have it paired with my Galaxy Nexus. I think the sound quality is good but Bluetooth it is limited by the dynamic range and compression of A2DP. You could improve the quality by plugging your headset into the phone's 3.5mm jack directly instead of the BT3030 and just use the BT3030 as a wireless remote control thus avoiding the sound constraints of A2DP. I mostly use the BT3030 to plug into the earphones of my Ski Helmet so I can keep my phone in the pocket where it is protected and control the music from the BT3030:

I tried the MOTOACTV on the Galaxy Nexus, there was an apk that I downloaded that let it work, but found it too expensive for it's limited abilities and returned it and waiting for the Sony Smartwatch. I think it's supposed to be available in March.

Now that I've had to play with it a few days and take it mountain biking, here are my thoughts:

The Jabra Street2 is a bluetooth remote device that can control your music and phone calls wirelessly. It has a small built in mic to answer calls. It can be clipped or worn with the lanyard chain.

Pros:
-Does what I want it to do: Control my music.
-Buttons are large, easy to press, while the device is compact
-Sound quality is good (when earphones plugged into Jabra)
-The manual says it's splashproof in light rain, but I have yet to take it on a snowboarding trip, so I'll be testing that out shortly as well.

Cons:
-Build quality is sturdy, but not the greatest and has a plasticky feel.
-From what I've read, voice over the mic on phone calls is so-so, but I have not tried this myself. I'm not using the Jabra for phone calls.

My main issue with the device is that although you can keep your earphones plugged directly into your phone, you cannot control the volume, but only play/stop and back/skip track. Volume can only be adjusted if you plug the earphones directly into the Jabra itself.

In sum:
-Generally, I'm happy with the device, but I originally wanted to keep my earphones plugged into my phone and control the volume from there so that I have a true wireless remote. I'm going to take it out a few more times and mess with it.

Like some others here, I have the LG Tone, stereo bluetooth headphones. You wear this half ring around your neck and it has wired buds. The best thing about it is you can take calls easily without having something stuck in your ear all day. When a call comes in it vibrates and you just pop one of the buds in, press the answer button.

Back on topic it had buttons that turns on Google music and controls fwd and back buttons (and of course volume).

So I've decided I'm going to return the Jabra. Although it works well in what it's supposed to do, it doesn't do what I specifically want it to do (ability to control volume while my earphones are plugged into phone). And at ~$60, I'm hesitant to spend that much for something I'm not completely satisfied with.

The best thing I could find is this (minus the car part; I just want the remote):
which is for ipods/iphones only. The search goes on then.

How long is the battery life on this? It looks like it would be ideal for what I want which is to put my android in a tank bag and use this on about a 10 your ride on my motorcycle. Does it last a long time just streaming music and not talking or is that the same concerning battery life?

why not a pair of wireless headphones that have controls on them? I use a pair of rocketfish over ear headphones for the gym and running, works great.
