Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm looking for a very thin case as well. Did the OP find one that worked? I have a ZAGG shield for the screen and really I just want a thin case to protect from any scratches that may happen. I need very minimal protection but I don't like the feel of a skin so I don't want to o with that.
Edit: I also have the Samsung spare battery charger that I use daily so I would like the phone w/ case to be able to fit in the dock. Will the Incipio feather work for this purpose? - 08-02-2012, 09:34 AM #29

Was just about to recommend that... Yes the feather case will fit with the dock.

Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
Slim works very well with extended battery. I have all three versions, The Black is only one I use the others don't have the rubbery grip to it and are way to slick for my personal taste. I honestly like the feel of the phone better with this case than without it, this is the best case I have ever had on any phone and I highly recommend It over the Incipio, Otterbox, Diztronic, CaseMate or any of the others I have tried.

Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
I agree with this. Matte black Rearth slim is the best case ive found as well. Much better then any TPU ive tried. Adds very little to the phone, but still protects. Only negative i can report is the rubber caps for the charging/headphone port are easy to tear off if you grab it while taking a cord out. They are not connected with a large piece of rubber like the otterboxes are. First set went in a week, second ones are holding up now that i watch for it. It also removes from the phone easily and does fit well with the extended battery. - 08-18-2012, 09:45 PM #33

Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
No question for the Galaxy Nexus the Matte Black Ringke Slim. I have two in Matte Black, one in white which I don't use because it's not matte, and a Galaxy S3 matte black.
I don't make cases for the GN - just screen protectors. But for the S3 I have Ringke beat

Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
When you put the phone face down on the Rearth, does the case stick out further than the screen to "block" it from touching.

Re: The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?
But I would assume that if it is high on top/bottom, it would still raise the screen up to avoid it touching a table/whatever it is on. No?
