Anyone have any luck connecting GN to car's USB port?

I'd like to connect my Galaxy Nexus to my car stereo's USB port to play songs. I plugged it in and all it did was charge. Anyone have any luck plugging in their device to their car stereo's USB port? It worked perfectly with the iPhone.

The Galaxy Nexus doesn't mount as a USB drive, so not many cars will be able to access the files on the Galaxy Nexus. Actually I don't think any cars will be able to access them unless they can utilize MTP (which is how the GNex communicates with computers in order to transfer files).
