    Default Free Extended Battery

So last Wednesday I decided to call Verizon and ask for an extended battery. I told the representative the issue with battery life being . I brought up the fact that I paid quite a few pennies for this device and that I should get the extended battery at no cost. They declined and she told me she will not do it. I asked for a supervisor and she told me they will get back to me in 24 hours. Few days passed, and no one gave me a call (I didn't have time to give a call either). Today, Fedex delivered me an extended battery from Verizon at no cost! Just wanted to share my little story. Maybe you guys can give it a try too!

Sweet, will definitely try it. What are some of the persuasive arguments you had, because the reps in my town would definitely not succumb to that,

All I pointed out was that I am a very loyal customer and I believe I deserve the best quality products in return to make my experience with smart phones a good one. Just keep bringing that up and how you overpaid for a device that can't hold a full days worth of battery. Give an anecdote or two.

I wanted to purchase my phone from Costco too, but since my upgrade was only through Verizon (I called and asked for an upgrade because I wanted the Galaxy Nexus, but still had a few months on contract) I had no choice but to get it from them. Although I did get a free car charger worth 30 dollars and a free otter box defender case worth 50. Its easy to negotiate with these reps.

Does your extended battery fit okay? Mine comes up a little on one side more than the other.
