TPU Bumper Case on Ebay $5..Best Minimal Protection Case

I purchased this case while surfing Ebay from Hong Kong..This case in my opinion is better than any other soft gel case or hard case that offers minimum protection. This case the outer rings of the phone and does not add bulk that even the slimmest cases do such as Casemate Barely There & Ringke Slim.

Yes, I would assume due to it fitting around the edges leaving the battery door exposed...

Looks interesting. Very minimal but still seems like it will protect from drops due to the corner protection.

OP, how do you think it will handle being dropped?

Protection is dead on....I didnt panic when I dropped it just like when i had a full gel case and hard case, no damage or scratches.

I just ordered another 1..You won't regret it, it feels just like you are holding the phone naked since the edges are the main areas protected.

It is TPU it is all one piece. TPU is like stiffer silicone.

thanks for the clarification. Dunno why it needs the speaker cutout on the back, it should just be lower.

I bought this for my wife. It looks great but is now in the garbage. The rubber rim fell off. I thought I could glue it back, but it was too difficult. Also it does not work with several docks.

In case anyone else runs across this thread looking for a bumper case for the Galaxy Nexus, don't bother with this one. Within a month of receiving the case, it has broken. The case is designed with an opening in the top right corner. This leaves 2 small strips of the hard rubber to hold that corner together, which you can see in the photos on eBay. One of the strips on mine has broken, and I suspect that it won't be long until the other strip breaks, making the case useless. Sad, because it does work with the large Hyperion extended battery.

Looks like a bumper case, but this with the faux back cover (this one is white) is awesome. You can drop your phone with no damage. I even forgo the real back cover so battery changing is easier than OEM.
