I've had that happen when the phone falls into a deep sleep and cannot be woken up immediately, or at all.

Just spent like 45 minutes on Wikipedia... I started on "vegemite" and ended up on "predation." I remember vegemite, toast, pica (disorder), high-rise syndrome, control moment gyroscope, butter, buttered-cat paradox, and predation.. and I'm sure there were more.
