It's not pure lollipop, it's still very much LG's skin. There are Material Design touches here and there, colors and animations. Battery life seems a touch better but it's tough to say for sure

HTC's Lollipop isn't very Material either, but I think they're waiting for Sense 7 to update it. So far, Samsung's Lollipop seems closest to stock

I have an HTC M8, that just got Lollipop a couple of weeks ago...

Personally, I'm loving the update!

It runs much smoother than Kit Kat ever did. Also, I'm loving the notifications on the Lock Screen...it finally makes the Lock Screen functional!

Yeah, it runs pretty smooth, but visually the only changes I noticed were the quick toggles/notification shade, matching status bar with apps, and the recent apps

In all retrospect, the note 4 is one of the best devices I have used, very reminiscent of the note 2 in terms of reliability, versatility, battery life, and a great shooter. This is a phone I could ride with for 2 years easy. Note 5 could definitely hit that mark.
