ROM that fixes Gnex bug where wifi sleeps when display is off?

Quick description of the problem:
This is rather well known bug with the Vz Gnex. Not sure if it's just on select devices or all, but there are some pretty long threads over on Google's support site about it.

It's really noticeable when using slacker (and other streaming apps) on wifi. When screen is off, the song stops caching. When you turn the screen on, it'll cache. Keep in mind that this occurs even when I have the setting to "keep wifi on during sleep" set to Always.

So my question is....does anyone know of a stable rom that addresses this issue? Thanks.

have you tried xenonHD? I stream google play all and pandora, it stream constantly.

There's something in the Franco kernel updater app that boosts Wi-Fi during sleep. +side he makes nice overclockable kernels.

^^^That's Wi-FI PM_Fast. I have it enable, but I've absolutely never had a problem streaming Wi-Fi with the screen off (stock or custom). I stream Pandora 10+ hours a day and 90% of the time the screen is off. So it may be a hardware issue.
