Anyone try the EK06 radio?

Found this from Premium1's post in another thread. (Thanks Premium1)
Its a new leaked cdma and lte radio software. Figured I'd give er a try.
Only have it installed a few minutes now, but I get one more bar on the sig strength and bout 5 mbps higher on speedtest which I did prior to and right after install.

May be a placebo effect but flashing new stuff is always fun.

I flashed the new radios as well. I'm not sure if there's any real improvement yet, but certainly no worse and maybe better.

I think its human nature to believe that somethin new must be better. I agree tho its certainly not worse and thats the main thing.

In the TBolt forum, Adrynalyne was kind enough to group links to all the TBolt radios, past and present, into one post. While certainly convenient, it's also somewhat prudent, given if this radio kills your GNex, do YOU have the original radio to fall back on?

That said, does anyone have the zip for the stock radios we have under 4.0.2? I'd like that in my back pocket before I flash this radio.

You can flash the radios individually from the factory images from 4.0.2. Instructions are here: [HOW-TO] Take LTE back to 100% Stock - xda-developers

Doing much better on EK06. 3g to 4g handoff is vastly improved, and signal strength seems better too. Just flashed it this morning, so I will wait for it to settle in with the new ROM and Kernel I loaded this morning too...

I just flashed it and it's seems the same. What I found funny is flashing a radio in cwm when I had my fassy and then charge u could only flash radio with Odin. So I was worried doing it in cwm. Anyone else had that feeling as u were flashing it?

there is a thread over our friends in XDA that you can revert in back just the radio to 4.0.2 on CWM

Nah that's a future, and really stupid, update. This one is an actual new radio file (both 3g and 4g). I'm seeing minor improvements with it where I work which is a bad signal area. Nothing earth-shattering lol. To people not impressed, it could take up to a day to settle before you see accurate results, just keep that in mind
