[ROM][AOSP][10/31][JB] Bugless Beast VZW Galaxy Nexus

I was able to get about 20hrs of moderate use out of my first fully charged battery since flashing this rom.I just let it drop to 7 % before putting on charger tho.( 6hrsout of those 20 hrs. of it was when I was sleeping).Thats with the stock config.of govenor./volts.

Battery issue is gone. Safe to level up now.

Yup thats why I went ahead and flashed the 1/13 version ,read battery issue was fixed.
Also so far for me everything is working great on this update.

Just a update I don't. I just wipe cache and dalvik. No issues here.

I haven't noticed any differences with 1/15 yet. (Haven't played with it much). Battery life is still good.

pete mentioned on twitter that there were some NFC changes in 1/15.

Were are the mods for this rom. Can someone post a link. Can this rom have mods like codename. I really like codenames toggles and lock screen.

This ROM is as close to stock as you can get.

Most of the changes are really focused on performance

it's deodexed so you can apply other mods in many cases

there are one or two addons like the power menu and Google Wallet but it's really designed to be as stream lined as possible.

Battery life is much better with the newest nightly. Today, while I was at work, with light to moderate use, I was at 57% after 8 1/2 hours. Not too bad, IMO.

Do you have to wipe everything before you update to a new version of Bugless Beast? I'm currently running 1/13 and I don't want to have to erase everything on my phone to update to 1/18...

I have some lag on the keyboard and read on the forums for Bugless Beast that some are reporting that they have no more keyboard lag on 1/18 that was present on 1/13.

I've been wiping dalvik, cache, and system. Been running fine thus far, keyboard seems more snappy than previous versions.

I've just been wiping Dalvik. The keyboard is working the same (great) for me, but I'm using Swype.

Yeah i just wipe Dalvik unless Pete specifically says to wipe eveything.
Generally speaking though, small incremental updates of the same ROM won't require a full wipe.

You usually only need the full wipe if you are going to a different ROM or the update includes a major jump in versions of Android. But, as always, it's good to listen to the dev because sometimes certain features in the new update will require a full wipe, Facebook Sync comes to mind specifically and sometimes Google Wallet.

If you do have issues with a ROM, usually it's a good idea to just try a full wipe when re-flashing it before reporting problems. Most devs won't troubleshoot problems until a full wipe is done, just to make sure other factors that could be contributing to the problem are ruled out.
