Anyone using 2/2 having trouble with the screen not shutting off during a call?

    What am I missing?

Also, what does Pete's new option to "auto dim backlight" do anyway?

it looks like pete has most of the updates from the 4.04 update in there but it's still technically 4.03 because 4.04 isn't in AOSP yet.

Changes, from what I can tell.

Common: Add CPU Settings to "Developer options" (cyanogenmod)
Common (Phones): Add notification drawer toggles and settings (cyanogenmod)

looks like there is a new toggle interface in the notifications drop down that also includes 2G and LTE support
it's actually really cool, Settings > Display & interface > Status Bar Toggles.
    some new kernel things
    Add USB host mode support

Not really a big fan of the new toggle options, I would rather have the settings button go to the settings menu and have shortcuts on the drop-down notifications thingy.

Other than that, no problems with 2/16 that I've noticed.

I mentioned that to Pete. Asked if he couldn't just give us the option of the new toggles or the old ones. He says the two are completely different and the new ones are stock for ICS tablet builds. My thing is that this is a phone, not a tablet. I prefer the old toggles.

I like the new toggle buttons, better as buttons instead of switches, you can change that option in settings.

I need to compare the changelog to find out what's new but here's what i think are the latest additions

Common: Enable unlinking of ringtone and notification sound (aokp)
Common: Add national data roaming setting (rdlgrmpf, lord clockan)
Common: Add browser user agent selection setting
Common: Add browser option to open link in incognito tab (danesh)

So i've tried out a few of the more popular 4.0.3 roms lately and this is my favorite so far. I'm running franco's kernel and this combination is ridiculously fast. I don't even OC it. The only issue I have is that occasionally the lock screen is glitchy. Once i'm through that everything is silky smooth.

Great work on this rom. I really enjoy it.

I tried out some other ROMs, but I keep coming back to Bugless Beast for its simplicity and battery life. I tried AOKP and only got 3 hours of battery after my battery drained to like 50%... on Bugless Beast, I get at least 14 hours of battery life with moderate-heavy usage.

Yup, I'm a huge fan. It's so stable, quick, great battery life and that's always kinda been the three consistent traits across all three devices I have used Bugless on.

I will hop around and try different ROMs here and there just to make sure I'm not missing anything but I always come back because it's the perfect mix of features, speed, stability and battery life.

It also doesn't update every other day which is fine if you want to run nightlies but for a day to day ROM that i need to work I don't like frequent changes.

I'm also running it with Franco's kernel, mostly for the sound and color settings.

Great news! I was about to look at Clean 4.0.4 or Liquid because I read Pete posted on Twitter he is busy with school and may not get 4.0.4, I just happen to go on his page due to looking at putting BBeast on my Xoom and saw the new one for that. Went to Toro and 3/29 was also there! Keeping my Beast on the GNex.

This update is so smooth so far! Browser is so responsive in every way, using with Franco Milestone 2 I've had for a week or so with 3/16. Can really see a difference with this based on 4.0.4.

going to give the latest nightly a try.
Codename got a bit bloated for my liking.
Was going to wait until 4.0.5 dropped from Verizon but who knows when that will happen.

i read someplace early april but yeah who knows....

bugless is really clean and there is not much above pure AOSP.

some notification bar tweaks and processor controls. a few google apps like wallet and Car Home are added back in which is nice...

    Loving BB.
Wish the top bar could be customized and wish the settings menu listed all settings but other than that this rom is to my liking...lots of dropped signal but very quick to pick it back up with this rom.

Never actually tried to use it to buy something but the app does load and i have $15 on the prepaid card. $10 from the initial activation and $5 after the issues they resolved a few weeks ago.

I'm assuming it works but never tried...next time I'm at some place that supports it i will give it a shot.
