Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
I'm running at 1350MHz/350MHz with the governor set to interactive (Petes stock kernel governor setting). Battery life is good (lasts a full day with moderate-heavy use using the extended battery). Anyone test out the other options to see if they work well?
I read hotplug is very good on battery life, but I am guessing interactive is the best for this if it's what Pete chose. I have left it the same for a few months now (been on BB since I bought my Galaxy Nexus in Feb) and haven't really played with the settings besides just recently increasing the clockspeed from 1200 to 1350. I'm wondering what others have experienced if they have changed them. - 04-13-2012, 07:03 AM

Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
I have been using Franco, at the 1344 max with the 512 GPU setting using ondemand w/ BB
Overall the battery life was about 8 hrs when I wasn't streaming music all day long at work.
I consider that reasonable especially considering I had it on the highest settings.
Since Pete recently started getting deep into kernel mods though I've moved away from Franco just to see what BB can do now totally stock.
I've been streaming music for 2 hrs and and I'm at 83%...so it's tracking well I think. - 04-13-2012, 11:19 AM #206

Awesome. I know Franco kernel has governors like hotplugX which combines hotplug and interactive. I wonder if Pete is going to start mixing them together as well.
Currently though my device runs flawlessly with good enough battery life for me to make it through the day. - 05-25-2012, 02:29 PM #207

yeah it has been a while since an update.
So I don't know Pete but from what I'm seeing on Twitter from him it looks like he's taking a bit of a break from ROM deving while he looks for a job. Probably spending some time enjoying not being in school too.
I'm sure he'll be back once he gets that all squared away.

Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
My phone is still running really well so I can't complain too much. Just felt the itch to flash something new.
I did have a question I haven't come across in any of the threads. I haven't been able to make in-app purchases or rent movies from the market. I'm on the april 6th build so maybe I'll move to 4/9 and see if that fixes it. Just wondered if anyone had heard of the same problems. - 05-29-2012, 01:56 AM #212
Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
I have tried a plethora of different ROMs available to us, but I keep coming back to Pete's BB. It's the cleanest, most stable, most energy efficient ROM I've run (in combination with Franco.kernel).

Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
I installed the 4/6 build of BB 4.04 and have the inapp purchase issue that someone else mentioned previously. I notice that the build number on my phone is IMM76D. Can someone tell me what the 4/9 build is? Would it be the current 4.04 build number of IMM76K?

Probably going to flash the latest nightly of this, even though it's old. I feel like a fresh install will do me some good, since I've been on Redemp. ROM for a while now. Nothing wrong with it, but I always feel like things are better after a fresh install.

You'll like it if you like Redemption. I've moved to that since reading your review of it. Just to try something new. Probably go back to Bugless here in a few days.
I did a review of Bugless a while back for the NS4G. There's not a ton of frills so like any AOSP ROM it's not that interesting to review but it's really stable, really fast and seems to have a longer "shelf life" between flashes. - 05-31-2012, 11:25 AM #222
Re: [ROM][ICS][AOSP] 4.04 Bugless Beast CDMA Galaxy Nexus - 4/9/1
Yup I've tried Redemption too, but I really used the toggles in the status bar a lot. Plus, it seemed like Redemption ran a little slow on my phone (with the kernel that was included on the ROM and with Franco's Kernel).
Hopefully Pete will come out with something amazing (not that his ROM isn't amazing already lol). - 06-03-2012, 05:56 PM

According to Pete on twitter we should have a BB update soon. He's compiling them now.
