Default After flashing ROM....Nexus stuck in boot. Need Help Bad

I need help. I used the Wug's Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit, to root and unlock. I downloaded rom manager and flashed clockwork mod. After several attempts I even got it to load in recovery mode. I then tried to install "codenamed-droid" ROM and when it restarted it just gets stuck in the 4 color boot animation.

I have pulled the battery 4 times and still nothing...I can't even get to recovery mode to factory reset it. I really need help.

usually bootloops are caused by forgetting (or not wanting) to wipe data/cache

at least that's been my experience.

It took a moment but I pulled the battery and as soon as I put it in I held the volume buttons and power and got into recovery mood. After that I factory reset and it restarted. I then flashed the rom without rom manager and it all worked.

I wiped it clean, because I had done a complete backup. I think I had a bad download of the rom.
