Default Updated to 4.0.4 and lost root?

If you are on stock 4.0.4 you probably lost root like I did. It still worked for apps I had already given root to but not for new ones. If you are having problems with root try flashing this it worked for me and someone over at droidlife said it was a fix to the problem.

I think it was specified that if you use the OTA 4.0.4 stock, you will lose root. I chose this method instead:

    Custom 4.0.4 rom:

That doesn't seem to make sense...

You only flashed the radios and bootloader?

No, she didn't. It turns out it was a setting in File Explorer causing the conflict/misrepresentation.

OK so how do I install this zip if I can't flash clockwork mod and then go to recovery? I'm getting the error message also stating I don't have root access although I do have super user and busy box?

Yep, this worked for me too. Looks like the Voodoo OTA RootKeeper didn't restore my root as it advertises. For you folks wanting to regain root on Android 4.0.4 update, gotta flash the su.zip using something like ClockworkMod ROM Manager.

    Thank you for your help!
