Default Noob DUMB question ... Root ?

I have gone through WugFresh's toolKit (much Props to him for that tool ... EASY to use) ... How do I know if the root was successful .... I did get 4.0.4 moved over from cache and updated the phone ... When I boot the phone there is an unlocked lock on the Google screen so I know that the unlock was successful ... I tried to run a couple of applications for rooted users and nothing works ... any ideas ?

    Thanks,
    SA

There should be Mac methods out there to root. It takes a while after the initial PC release but it does make it sooner or later.

After you ran everything to root did you boot into cwm to flash the su.zip on the root of the SD?

Edit. Do you have superuser in the app drawer?
