Re: [ROM][Updated - 3/04/12] Cyanogen Mod Nightly - OFFICIAL!
I just flashed the 3/2 nightly on my nexus last night and got two "sleep of deaths" in the first two hours or so. I was afraid it would happen in the night and my alarm wouldn't go off so I'm back on stock 4.0.4 for now. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

Re: [ROM][Updated - 3/07/12] Cyanogen Mod Nightly - OFFICIAL!
Yuck. I'd be dying without my Nexus with me.
On the matter of this nightly release, I've had two shutoffs. My phone turned completely off earlier when it was in my pocket at the store, and just now, when I double-tapped a webpage to zoom in, it froze up and rebooted itself. This is just "for what it's worth" information. Not sure what is causing it. - 03-08-2012, 01:48 AM #58

Trust me, not being able to flash is like trying to quit smoking right now.
That's a good question. The previous nightlies--no. With this, I obviously can't say. I presume in time. Heck, I'd settle for a proper Boot Animation at this point!Former moderator & advisor.

Well I think they have the best toggles/power widgets, so much so that GummyNex is now porting them over for their own rom.
As far as the others, they don't have as many features, but they're just as stable and efficient. Not to mention the presentation is exceptionally slick IMHO.Former moderator & advisor.

Since the 3.31.12 update my phone is booting up ridiculously fast! Fastest boot of any rom I've used so far and trust me I've been flashing more than a Scores dancer.

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
I reverted back to the 3/18 nightly due to the Android OS/Cell Standby battery drain issues when I loaded anything newer. Anyone heard or seen if the 3/31 build resolves that? I am the testbed for the wife, who I recently converted from an iPhone, and I do not want to give her any reason to complain... right now, the battery life is so much better than what she had, I want to keep it in the "clear winner", tigerblood column.

Thanks! - 04-03-2012, 11:08 AM #73

Re: [ROM][3/31/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
I'm on the 3/31 build right now. The OS is reporting between 15 and 30 percent battery usage on average, but I haven't noticed much if any difference on battery life. I was on stock 4.0.2 before I flashed this, so I'm not sure if the earlier builds of Cyanogen have improved battery life from stock.

Try flashing francos. His kernel went REALLY nicely with 3/23 and previous builds.
Also, maguro just dropped so I presume toro is right around the corner.Former moderator & advisor.
