Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
After flashing cyanogen and gapps, how can I restore my apps from my stock rom? I used Wug's Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit and did an "apps backup" -- It has the option to restore apps but I'm scared to do that with a different rom installed. Is that the proper procedure?
Thanks!!
EDIT >> Decided to dive right in... did an app + data restore. It's in progress right now. Fingers crossed.Last edited by elemeno0pee; 04-05-2012 at 01:03 AM.

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
can someone post the 04/04 changelog? It will not load at my work and I'd like to know what tweaks they did. I don't see that any of the "Preference Stubs" have filled in to add more features.

For some reason under 4/4 it's blank? There are 2 things for "the next nightly" though. Anyone else seeing that?

I just decided to quit being lazy and pulled it up on my phone. yea there is nothing under the 04/04. The next nightly says they are fixing LTE support...I myself haven't experienced much problems with the LTE

Me neither...I also have the 4.0.4 radios, so it'd be interesting to see what they do there.

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
Are the 4.0.4 radios a separate flash or is it included when CM9 went from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4? I've only flashed CM on any of my phones and I usually don't do much tweaking or addl flashing other then the Google Apps because I know that's a necessity.
But I hear other people talking about flashing different Kernels, etc...gets a little confusing - 04-05-2012, 09:26 AM

Re: [ROM][4/4/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!
For radios, a great package is featured in my AXI0M thread--it's called the get ready package. I've had zero problem running the 4.0.4 radios (and that package specifically) across 5 different roms at this point.
I suggest wiping cache/dalvik before flashing them. In theory, you want to flash them before you flash a rom (so if you're going to flash 4-7-12 nightly, do ALL wipes, flash get ready, then flash the rom).
However, you don't necessarily "need" to do it in that order. The radios really affect nothing with the rom, so you can just go in and flash. Also, I believe there was a 4.0.2 to 4.0.4 radio thread in this forum a while back. Check that out; there should be links to the 4.0.4 bootloader + radios package.Former moderator & advisor.
