I am sorta back, suffice to say I been preoccupied. But if you read around, (been posting stuff) I am still on ics and waiting patiently for source. So I ain't caught up in the hoopla with the jelly stuff atm. You guys seem pretty hyped up about it...sounds good. I will quote myself from another post..."I just like the warm cuddly feeling of true source code in my phone."

Morning everyone. Well today is the day where my GS3 should be arriving. According to the tracking info its at the FedEx location that it always hits right before it goes on the truck for delivery and the arrival date still shows 7/6. I just hope it gets delivered before 1:45 when I have to leave for work lol.

Hahah well I would say this. Jelly Bean is what ICS should have been when it was first release. That doesn't mean to say that ICS was garbage, it was an amazing OS but Jelly Bean adds the necessary refinements that ICS needed. Personally I don't know how I am going to back to ICS when I get my GS3. First chance I get to install a JB ROM on that I am taking it.

That doesn't mean to say that ICS was garbage, it was an amazing OS but Jelly Bean adds the necessary refinements that ICS needed. Faded away for 2 reasons...

1. Didn't bring a huge improvement, just slight.

2. Jelly Bean.

I ran a Linaro AOKP build for a few hours, but promptly restored a backup. It just wasn't as good as I thought it should have been considering what I'd read. IMO, another example of benchmarks meaning nothing regarding real world every day usage.

Jelly Bean benches lower than ICS, but is just way more smooth, in a way you can definitely notice and feel.

On a side note... can't believe I drunk ordered an N7 last night. Sheesh, lol

Phone is still on the truck for delivery and of course I am now at work. I had a feeling this would be the one time that FedEx would come later than their usual time. O well hopefully it should be there when I get home.

On the bright side its probably better since I wont be rushing to set it up when I get home from work unlike what I would be doing if I was setting it up right before I had to leave.

Edit: Totally in favor of doing a hangout when it comes out!
