a year and a half ago i got a mb pro 13 inch with 128 gb ssd, 2.7 ghz i7 dual core intel, and 8 gb ram - for somewhere around 1500 with student discount, or maybe more like 1600, dont remember. the ssd, extra 4gb ram, and i7 (instead of i5) were all upgrades - i think 100 dollars each over the base price.

well hell....

What you got going on here Chris? Sorry I didn't read back too far into the discussion..

I had the option of going with a SSD drive on my newest Dell laptop last year but the tradeoff of space vs speed I needed the speed because at the time I was building ROMs from AOSP source and wanted the most space for my dollar. So I ended up with a 1 TB SATA drive in my laptop for about $200 vs the same price in SSD would of gotten me like 250 GB if I remember correctly which isn't a hell of a lot when you got a dual boot system running Win 7/Ubuntu.

Turkey and swiss panini for lunch. Nothing special but I haven't posted a food pic for a while.
