[ROM][5/23/12][4.0.4][AXI0M] CROSSBREED and PATIENT ZERO

Loaded B2 yesterday on a clean install. Woke up this morning and couldn't hit snooze on the alarm, the screen was frozen. Battery pull at 0500. Booted straight into recovery and loaded my V6 SHO backup which is fine by me.

What were your kernel settings?

Yeah, B1. Fat fingered that one. My kernel settings were stock, I usually like to let things settle for a day before I start undervolting. It may have something to do with having CM9 music set to an alarm tone, however I never had that problem with any of the other builds.

I am shocked there is no update this morning.

edit: No actually, I am relieved! We may actually cruise and enjoy B1 for a couple of days. ;-D

Loving this feature-rich environment. I really like some of these MasturMods, but unfortunately the battery mods aren't working on my phone. Used to be that they wouldn't show accurate battery readings - sometimes off by a little and sometimes they just read "100". Now they won't even install. The signal cluster mods work just fine though.

EDIT I'm running the Monolith build.

Probably some snafu in the B1 or aokp coding in there. I dont use the rom control battery settings. I just hit the hide option. I use both circle battery widget and beautiful widgets battery on different homescreens and they both are reporting percentages accurately.

Thanks for the info. Also, I just realized that I had ROM control Circle Mod selected, and so that was overriding the MasturMod battery icon setting.

Well a bunch of whiners had the gall to ask him for a "milestone" build instead of constant updates and got what they asked for.

Additionally I'm sure it has to do with the fact that he's probably overall satisfied with the speed and battery tweaks and is probably focusing more attention to his own ROM, Axi0m, now rather than continuing to tweak AOKP.

And also his off-season for his company has come to an end so he does have some more real-life stuff to do rather than sitting home developing all day every day like he's been for the past couple months, lol

I wonder myself, lol. I absolutely love all the features of AOKP and his tweaks run great with it. I'd hate to lose features I've grown used to when Rebirth proper comes out. Though DT hasn't admitted it directly I think even he feels similarly... obviously just my opinion

Lol a bit misinterpreted yes

I believe he said the init.d script in /sys/misc is being changed to compl3xtheory from th3oryspeed or whatever it was... and patient zero is the name of the kernel he's been working on

SHO is the real man's version... contains some scripts which are maybe experimental, and the blacked out UI menus, etc... Opposite of the STD version he puts out for people who whine and moan about the UI, lol.
