Dialer Screens

What I have here are dialer screens from themes that I got from rootz.

I did not make any of these.

What I did was package them into flashable zips. We all would like more stuff to flash right?
I been doing this sort of stuff back in my Fascinate days where I take elements from different themes and mash em together to create a frankenstein sort of theme.

These are dialer screens contained in the contacts.apk.
I have used these on lots of different roms including aokp, liquid, crossbreed, patient zero, rootzboat and gummy and they all worked fine.
I am presently on AOKP B31 and have flashed all of these yesterday to take screenshots and no issues.
I am almost sure these dialers will work on all roms, including stock as long as you are rooted, and have the latest cwm. They will not alter any theme you have installed.
I have read that BAMF rom uses encrypted keys for theme stuff so this may or may not work on BAMF.

To install, just flash in recovery. I do not wipe anything when installing but you could wipe dalvik and cache if you feel you must...it certainly won't hurt. Also please make a nandroid before installing.

So when you install this file it will include both the dialer screen and the in call screen.

I have given credit for all these dialer screens to the author and if they would like any of them taken down, no problem.
I have also cleared this thread with one of the moderators here at AC.
I have tons of fun loading these up and I hope you guys do too.

Tried a couple of them out and the phone froze up and the dialer would not open . Had to flash current rom to fix

Don't know what to say except sorry it didn't work out for you.

One thing I can think of is make sure in the phone app/settings/dialpad settings is to make sure "enable T9 dialer" must be checked.

If anyone else has their dialer not open, make sure that option is checked and flash again.

Or worse case restore your nandroid that you made before you started. You did make a nandroid.

Funny thing is that dialer was in a theme called relativity or something like that and came out way back for I think aokp build 19 or 20 and was never updated. Still works gud. :-)

The blackphone dialer was in the negativity theme made ONLY for liquid and works fine.

These are only 1 apk being flashed...no framework or systemui stuff which are definitely rom specific.

I know this thread is not getting much traction, but I had to update it with this dialer.
I really like it. The numbers have a raised effect.

Will throw it back on aokp this evening.

Huge improvement over the stock dialer btw.

I dunno man that last one the carbon glass one is wicked. When I unlock the phone I hit the dialer just to look at that thing. lol I wish I could make this stuff. Them guys are talented.

There is so much more than dialers. You can take lotsa apps from the themes and install em together. Like for instance the mms and play store.

The inverted black market is nice but this market and mms is from the supernova theme. You can just pull these apks from the theme and flash. Its so much fun. No need to flash the whole theme, just take parts from different themes and "mash" em together.

Just don't do systemUI.apk or framework-res.apk ... them stuff is very rom specific.

It feels kinda cheesy for me to post these as I don't make them. All I do is package them into flashables. Its so easy to do. Extract the contacts.apk from a theme you like and insert them into a flashable zip. Or easier is to get the theme and delete all files in all the folders except the contacts.apk and flash. Winrar is invaluable for this task.
And this is not only for contacts. They can be done with mms.apk, calculator.apk, camera.apk, googlequicksearchbox.apk etc etc.
Just don't do systemUI.apk or framework-res.apk in the frameworks folder. Unless of course you are on the rom that the theme is for.

I hear ya but i think they're fascinating. I would never go thru as many themes as you go thru, at least not while im in school/prepping for finals etc.

You dont have to post them up here, but i've flashed several of them, and while i understand they're easy to make, i'm far too lazy for that
