If you are rooted try light flow. It let's you tweak the colors and the speed.

Roms such as aokp, liquid, patient zero etc allow you to change the speed and duration of the glow without light flow.

This a confirmed situation. I'm on liquid1.25. I have the LED one second on one second off.

I appreciate that I can adjust the flash frequency via my ROM, but I still use Lightflow to set different colors for different notifications. Then I know when to ignore the LED

Nice. Didn't think about it that way. What rom are you running?

Currently on AOKP b32. They keep dropping releases, but since they're on a feature freeze until the next milestone I'm just sticking on b32. Been great for me. Kept going through a bunch of different kernels, but back to Franco (on r141 nightly).

This particular device loves Franco's kernel. All the others I tried had lag, or data connection issues. I know devices are unique, and others have had really good results with all of the other kernels I tried... but mine is most solid/fluid/stable/butterific with Franco's.
