Help, please! Error message: Device not found & can't install CWM

I unlocked my device and then tried to root it. SU is installed but says root failed. BusyBox says device is rooted. When I go into fastboot mode & enter fastboot devices, it says "no device found". Therefore I am unable to proceed to install Clockworkmod Recovery. Please help!!!

what directions did you follow?
you can probably just reroot following the directions stickied in the root subforum here, using the latest su package which will actually get you rooted, rather than the old one.

You may need to setup the fastboot drivers again. Try using Wug's Toolkit (if you're on a Windows pc).

I had the same issue if running Win 7 delete any references to your Goole device in your Win 7 device manager and then install the Samsung ABD drivers I think its listed on step 3a of the program. Hope that helps I am a noob to this as well.
