Default WUG's Toolkit To Flash Stock Jellybean- HOW?

Guys, sorry if this is common knowledge but my head is spinning after reading about rooting for three days.

I have a GNEX coming Friday which replaces a TBolt I've had since release day- running stock OS since day 1. I have never rooted or anything else.

I REALLY want to put stock JB on the new phone when it comes. I have read the whole WUG's help file and many threads and it appears like I should be able to use it to easily do EVERYTHING BUT install the actual JB OS.

So, once I go through the whole WUG's process and the phone is rooted, is there a similar, easy to follow script for actually loading the new OS? This is the part I just can't figure out. And what stock JB ROM do I want to use?

Thanks in advance for any tips, pointers or links you want to share to help this noobie.

Which rom--whatever you'd like. I'll be updating my Jelly Bean guide with the new additions (within reason) tomorrow, but that's a good place to start.

As to "how"--we have a couple of guides on flashing. I have my own--Don't Panic--and there's a great guide by CyberWarrior on flashing roms. Both are stickied here.

So I suggest reading all three of those guides, at least the "guide parts" of them .

Okay, thank you. I think I have it.

First I have to root using the WUG's toolkit.

Then I have to flash the rom which is when you boot into recovery (can't do this without rooting, right?) and wipe all the different options. Then load the ROM from the SD card and enjoy jelly bean.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks again guys.

Pretty much spot on. One thing to keep in mind is that one of the wiping options will be listed under Advanced Options (or something similar) from recovery mode. I mention this simply because many people new to rooting seem to miss that one, and it can create headaches.

Just throwing it out there that the stock jelly bean for verizon has not been released. I am running the bugless beast thanks to pete alfonso. Its running great, and allows me to use features that are sure to be locked down by the verizon release.
