Well i can't get 1129 working. It has the same no data issue as that ROM they pulled earlier this week.

The Chrome sync issue is from the 1128 gapps I got from goo.im I flashed a gapps someone shared a couple of pages ago that fixes it.

Skank?s 11/29 build is way behind the current AOKP unofficial builds. Both in butter and in options. Sorry to say to the diehards (not that I have an affinity to ANY one rom or dev). I understand it?s 4.2.1 but AFAIK it?s only a few additional files to 4.2. I may run it for today, but it won?t be long one way or another. Oh well, obviously I enjoy flashing new sh*t so no harm/no foul.
Also, the 11/29 signed gapps are weak sauce. Can someone please explain to me why some people (and devs) say ?use THIS gapps package?? What?s the harm in using another one you know works and enjoy what?s in it (say Wallet for example)? Back on ICS I used the same old gapps package for dozens of roms without issue. If any apps are dated they?ll update from the play store. Can a gapps package somehow conflict with or break a rom?

I couldn't get any data as well. Also as a note, do not delete the /0 folders no matter how many you have. I had 4 and deleted one and lost everything, lol. :banghead:

Not sure if I'm following you guys correctly, but in the unofficial aokp build I'm currently running (adamthecashew 11/27) the toggles (two finger down) work like..erm...toggles. Short press = on/off and long press = setting menu shortcut. I was a bit weary about the notification/toggles panes at first but I really dig it now and can see there's all kinds of cool things the devs can/will be doing with Google's new approach. The votes not in on the new lockscreen, though. Anyway, about to flash skank's cm 10.1 11/29 build and the 4.2.1 11/29 signed gapps (although I like one I have w/ wallet) in a few. Anyone on it to comment? Probably have to be a quick response lol.

GAPPS that Roman provided seems to be the best 4.2.1 GAPPS I can find without any hiccups.

Check out some comments from roman. This is in the mako forum but relevant.
[ROM] Android Open Kang Project - MAKO - JBean 4.2 - Page 54 - xda-developers
He actually recommends skank's stuff.

It's tough to disagree with someone as in the know as Roman, but as someone who's been flashing both Skank's and Adamthecashew/steve spears (aokp) nightlies since 4.2/1 hit, I do. cm 10.1 still feels like the early aosp builds that had me flashing back to 4.1.2. Not to mention the no data issue on 11/29. Of course, just my opinon. That said, I"ll certainly continue to flash Skank's builds as they come. According to that post by Roman the aokp unofficials are done anyway. Anyone flash today's 11/30 build yet?

After thinking about what that thread is about (aokp), he probably meant skank's aokp builds.
Have you tried those? I believe they are 412.
I am not flashing stuff. I am in a holding pattern waiting for my n4.

I just tried flashing 1130 and no data connection. I had to go back to 1128. I think I am going to try a different rom and if I still have the same issue then I will go back to stock.

Well I'm not happy. I regret hopping on 4.2 now. It's the only thing I can think is causing FC's. Cuz I'm having them in both JellyBro and AOKP. The browser won't even fully load so I can post to this forum. I had to spark up the old PC. :(

I went back to JellyBro 1128 which I was on for several days and I don't remember the FC's. Maybe it's the gapps? I'm using the same gapps for AOKP and JellyBro.

Has GOO.IM replaced the 1128 gapps they pulled?

Okay ruled out gapps for browser FC's. I've flashed ROMs so many times in the last three days my heads spinning. Nearly eight hours at work the other day. I'm sure everyone thought I was watching porn. Root porn I guess.O:)
So this morning I'm starting to think it's this sites PC version. I like to view the forums in full. So maybe in the last couple o days one of their banners is conflicting with the Android browser. It doesn't seem to matter which ROM I'm on this morning the browser is having FC's at the very last bit of this forums page load. I haven't seen FC's on here before that's why I was blaming the ROMs and gapps.

I've said this before but it's been ignored. If you want a stable 4.2 ROM to use while CM 10.1 get further developed, flash MMuzzy's. It works and it's stable.

This might have been mentioned before. But I've noticed that the wireless settings are set to WCDMA. I've changed it to CDMA/LTE of course. This might be the data issue that people might be experiencing? After I do that, and a couple of reboots, no issues getting 4G LTE. Also the GAPPS are updated on Euroskanks page as of 12/1.
