Ok, I've got DroidVicious up and running. Very nice. I've set up my launcher screens in Apex the way I like them. I've installed and logged into many apps including Facebook, Flixter, Four Square, etc. I'm warm and comfortable. It literally has taken me 3 days to get comfortable and I'm not done yet.

But, now I'd like to try other ROMs. Everything I read says I must wipe, wipe, wipe before installing a ROM. Seems right. However, when I wipe won't I lose all my settings? I won't be warm and comfortable any more.

Is this what Titanium backup is for? Will it restore everything including all the settings and logins?

Some settings are backed up with Google. You can use TiBu for other settings and stuff as well, just check out 2def's guide on it for more details.

Check my TiBu guide (somewhere in the rooting section) for exactly that info :)

Also Apex has a backup/restore feature to backup your homescreens and settings.
