Changing behavior when connecting or disconnecting charger

I'm running stock 4.0.4, but I am rooted.

I'm mostly happy with stock, but one thing that annoys me is that the screen turns on whenever the charger is connected or disconnected. When I unplug the phone, it's usually because I'm about to put it in my pocket. There's no point in having the screen turn on!

Anyone know if there's a hack that will change this behavior?

I've moved on to jb, but I seem to remember this setting under the developer options see attached screen shot. It is entirely possible that this is only available on custom roms.
