Re: Best overall ROM
To answer this question it will depend on if you want to use an ICS or JB ROM. If you want an ICS ROM, I will tell you to look into AOKP Milestone 6. If you want a Jelly Bean based ROM I will tell you to look into Euroskank's CM10 builds. They are nightly builds so they are update uhh nightly
.
Have you already unlocked your device? If you haven't that will be your first step. All the ROMs that will be recommended here will be ones compatible with the Verizon Nexus (why we are in the VZW Nexus section
).

Re: Best overall ROM
Right now, I don't think anything is up to where CM10 is in terms of actual JB development (kernel, features, the whole 9 yards).

Re: Best overall ROM
Euroshank CM10 is super smooth and stable. If you can find Codename Android, it is also very nice and has a few more features.

Euroskank Jelly Bro, Bugless Beast, and Codename Android 3.1 get my votes currently.

Re: Best overall ROM
One more vote for Euroskank. Separately, I'm supremely satisfied with JB on the whole. Does everything ICS did more fluidly and adds a few new features which are all pretty handy.

When people talk about features that roms have, what is an example of one. And not just standard features jb has. I'm trying to convince myself to install a Rom. I'm on stock rooted and added Google now from xda
