    Default Rom?

    My question is after I root do I download roms and recovery with my phone or computer then transfer to the phone. Sorry if I missed this in one of the guides. Thanks

    User preference. I chose to download on my PC and then transfer to my device. I do it this way because I like to make sure I have a copy on my PC before my phone.

    I am now in the Galaxy Nexus member's club as of Aug 2012. Late to the party, but well before it shuts down!

    I do the same. Too many borked downloads when going direct to the device.

    Agreed. Direct to PC for me as well except for my N7 lol. Living dangerously with this. However with my phone I am very careful and therefore us my PC.

    Lol that's weird I haven't run into issues downloading straight to a device.. If I go to comp first its usually because I want to swap in a blacked out mms or a notification tone or something before I flash it, to save time later lol.

    And this thread proves the wonderfulness that is Android.

    I did the entire process in a staff meeting today. Of course, I didn't have a PC, just my phone. And, I've been using ROM Manager for the entire process. I know some have had issues with RM but it's worked for me since I've started this process.
