I'm not sure what I did, or even if I did anything at all, but my gallery is now empty. I use Airdroid as a file manager (amoungst other things) and I can see all of my pictures are on the sd card in DCIM/Camera. I also have my pictures backed up to Google and Dropbox. So, it's not a matter of lost pictures just why aren't they in my gallery anymore (neither are the dozen or so Picspeed wallpapers). Better yet, how do I get them back in there? I've gone as far as to reinstall the rom etc, both dirty and now clean, to no avail. Minor inconvenience but I'd appreciate some insight.

Also weird. After my full wipe/clean install, my phone connected to a protected Wi-Fi without asking for the password AND the lockscreen/homescreen wallpapers were a picspeed wallpaper I used a few days ago. This is all before restoring anything via MBP (but I did let google restore). Everything is running smoothly and no other pw's seemed to have saved. WTF?

Weird.. You can move them back from your computer anyways, to the /sdcard/DCIM/Camera folder.

Regarding the wifi info I believe that gets restored via Google since you had it restore to your phone.

What ROM are using. Also try uninstalling the g+ app and then reinstalling I know its weird but it fixed at least one of my friends gnex

That's the thing, man. All of my pictures are already in sdcard/sdcard0/DCIM/Camera...I can see them using the file manager on my phone. I can open them from the file manager, too. It's just that when I open gallery there's nothing there. No folders, no pictures, no wallpapers. Nada.If I snap a new picture, they show up in gallery. I was bugged out about it knowing the Wi-Fi pw and the old homescreen after a clean install so I'm doing it again. This time it just asked for the Wi-Fi pw in the setup process, so that's good.

Try placing them in a folder named picture on ur sd card rather then in the dcim folder

If that fails reinstall gapps maybe the gallery is is finicky

If you snap a new picture is it getting placed in the same folder your other ones are in or somewhere different?

I just snapped 3 pics and they show up in dcim/camera with all the rest My pics n videos but only those three in gallery. I'll try to move them out and back in when I get home. Any craft pitcher and a dozen tasty wings for $12 FTW!

Oh and personal best of 4 clean installs today including 1 gsm ROM like a genius over this lol

So I just went to send a picture through grouped and noticed that now I have the same problem as op crazy coincidence. Flashing gapps didn't work restoring the gallery app from tibu didn't work. Now I will try restoring a full backup from yesterday

You are not the only with that issue OP! My pics disappeared from Gallery but I can still see them if I use QuickPic. Also, Google Play is not detecting the songs stored on my device.

Just read some threads in RootzWiki and others are having the same issue with different ROMs:-\

Use formula84's GAPPS--worked for me. Be sure to dirty flash from a working build first, and do not forget to wipe system!

This issue has been affecting both new CM10 and new AOKP builds (8/15).

Also, Google backs up your wallpapers--hence yours returned :).

About to flash those Gapps! hopefully it fixes the issue for me :)

I've seen others say it works as well, and like I said, mine works. But because of the widespread nature of this I presume it'll be fixed fairly quickly regardless ;).

Well I guess it's nice not to be alone lol. Thing is I've been on can 3.2.0 for a few days and I didn't have this issue at first. Actually I had a few random albums to delete. My mind isn't exactly sharp ATM but I only noticed it...I think...after deleting old nandroids via airdroid.

This. Hence my suggestion :)

No luck with formulas gaaps. Minor inconvenience but hopefully someone figures it out. Thanks homies

I presume that since I've been dirtying for a week and a half that something made my SDcard impervious to this. Either that or I'm lucky lol
