Jelly Bean 4.2 Camera

it allows me to take 360 photos, once rendered I just see it as a normal panorama, the icon at the bottom doesn't work (should show it as something I can scroll around I believe.

All I know is it doesn't FC. Any non-functionality is probably due to how early the build is :). I'll continue looking for any applicable lib files.

Not a flashable zip, but a zip of the two lib files I posted earlier.

I will find any and all other lib files after work. But work is calling and I won't have my stuff there :).

Added the two libs, no more FC's
But when I try to use the Photo 360, getting "Sorry, your device is not yet supported"

Guess I'm out of luck! :'(

Thanks a lot :) After copying the libs panorama is running fine on stock Samsung ROM, but Sphere says: "Sorry, your device is not yet supported. Model : GT-I9305 (samsung)" - does anyone know if the GT-I9300 works? If so, the I9305 should work as well ... and I'd love to find a way to bypass the model check... =)

So after adding the two libs it doesn't force close but it says your device is not supported and editing photos still force closes the gallery.any work around guys???

I have the same problem with my i9100.

the icon of 3 circles in the galery doesn't work, what do it does?

Thanks a lot for digging this up! Either this is just an incomplete build or there's still some extra libraries to be found, either way, I can't wait for 4.2 to drop :)

After adding the lightcyle lib(I had the other for some reason), I can get the photosphere to shoot shots and instruct me what to do! For some reason though, after exiting out I can't find the shot. It basically told me to align the shot, then it shows little blue dots where to align next. Seems very slow and prob not something I'd use. Thank you for your time and effort OP!

Edit: This is on a Sprint Galaxy SIII

you move around lining up the blue dot, without pressing the blue stop button. Once done press stop, then swipe the screen to the left to see a preview and the progress bar of it building the panorama.

Same for me - it works, it does not FC's on opening, it shoots all the frames but when goes to rendering it suddenly FC's. SGNex yakju 4.1.2 stock. Will try the flashable zip because now I just copied two lib files to system/lib via Root Explorer...

Going into work. If anyone can figure out how to grab the pictures in the mean time let us know and I'll update.

Everything works (galaxy s3) but it's missing an apk when I'm puhsing the 3 circles on the new gallery to view the sphere-panorama

If it's a separate apk I'll find it.

the 3 circles is not the photo sphere, that icon looks like a panorama icon with a circle behind it (middle bottom not left bottom), the 3 circle icon is there on every image and is probably "edit" since that does the same when you press menu>edit

I'll look around but my Linux machine is inaccessible until after work. Sorry mates, gotta pay the bills :p

Oh and thanks to all who tracked down the appropriate lib files. All I ask is that if you link, link here. Dropbox links coming down when I get into the office. :)

It works on my GT-I9300.
Tried the flashable zip i posted on the previous page?

I copied the three files from this Zip:

Here is an flashable Zip i made It has the Panorama lib. The Zip is based on Gapps.
Also I will update it as soon as we get the Sphere libs

ADDED Liblightcycle.so

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/12400988/android/4.2Camera.zip

and get the "Sorry, your device is not yet supported. Model : GT-I9305 (samsung)" message when opening the sphere. Seems like there is a hardware check. Since the I9305 has the same camera hardware as the I9300 it should work... damn...
