I know this is a questions that i really need to know the answer for. I'm a Rogers customer in Canada and I dont want to wait forever for the device. I would be ok with just buying it outright from Google and tossing my SIM card in it. However, that brings up the issue of signal bands...

Current rumors have the phone as potentially being a GSM/CDMA device. Great, I can make calls. However what about the data? I don;t really care much for LTE. I would rather have my 6GB and the slightly (for the time being anyways) slower speed. GSM Arena and several other places I have looked have the phone being HSDPA and LTE capable but I havent seen which data bands it will be using?

Hopefully it will be all 4 (850/1700 and 1900/2100) when it's not using LTE.

Has anyone else heard anything I haven't or has some insight.

its also used for a couple of smaller carriers in canada i believe.

for example when the origional nexus phones were released (both the one and the S) we were unable to use them on rogers due to the 3g frequencies. edge would work but not 3g. voice calls were never a problem.
