I am still feeling the 17th as the release date, no reason or proof though. How long do cases etc show up prior to release normally?

2 weeks. If verizon doesnt keep pushing the Nexus release date. But since they never gave us one id say two weeks today. But seeing these cases is a really good sign that the phone can hit stores any day.

I love that case on the left! I had it on my thunderbolt and iPhone 4. Great case and kickstand works well.

It does mean that the web only rumors are probably untrue.

People still need accessories no matter where they buy the phone.

We're all going to wake up tomorrow to a Galaxy Nexus release, unannounced. We'll all just walk into our local VZW store and grab a 32 GB Galaxy Nexus for $199.

I'm sorry if this post doesn't make sense. I fell off my unicorn last night and hit my head pretty hard.

It would be humorous, not immediately, but at a later point in time, if we ended up missing a simple in-store launch because we were so engrossed in dissecting every rumor that comes through.

I don't remember merge cases every showing up? Not to mention it wasn't a high end phone by any means.

Not really. The phone isnt going to be web only forever, and even if it was some people wait until after it launches and then decide they want accessories.

The Merge was a high end phone at the time it was first announced. It was delayed and finally cancelled, then brought back to life. By that time it was no longer high end.

So you're going to compare an entry level HTC device to a top tier device that is the first to run Androids new OS? Yeah something is not right about that and by the way Merge did not get accessories like this. Nor was it even half as important as this device.
Premium1, Mooem and yiwen615 like this.

Thank you the merge was not high end and nobody really cared about it at the time. This is a high end lte device which many people want. About 5 people were upset the merge never came to verizon. not a big deal.
