Wow, just wow. I'm glad I read this thread to the last page. I viewed it at work - on my Ipad - and when it first started and, was very happy. I almost just went with the info and, waited for Monday. What a roller coster.
I understood them delaying it because of the Razr and Rezound, didn't like it but, understood it. If they're really delaying it because of their software programs, that sucks, really sucks. I wish T-mobile would have got this phone. I don't care because T-mobile works well in my city and, I actually like them better anyway.
At the original announcement, they said it would come to other U.S. carriers based on market & demand ( or something like that). It would have been awesome if they would have released it on all carriers because, this would be all a moot point, for me at least. As soon as all this crap came up and, the other carriers released it on the 17th, I would have been gone, in a heartbeat, porting my number as fast as I could. I left Verizon for the Nexus One and, I'd surely do it for this phone.
Verizon has nice coverage but, isn't the God of all carriers, like some make it out to be. I actually prefer a GSM phone because, it's a world phone that can be used overseas. GSM phones 3G data is also much faster and, you can talk and surf at the same time. You can do it with a LTE phone but, you better have a LTE signal , which isn't the most reliable form my experience. Don't get me wrong, LTE is nice and, one of the main reasons I chose to go back to Verizon but, HSPA+ is not bad on T-mobile either.
I'm really tempted to import a GN from overseas.
