Droid 4 Release Delays Galaxy Nexus?

If the droid 4 comes out then that seems that the GN will be pushed back even further....

I could see them launching them both on the same day since they will be targeted toward two different audiences with the droid being for those who want a keyboard and lte and the nexus the androiders who like to mess with their phones.

Well the article does say same day same day as the Galaxy Nexus, but yeah the Droid 4 does seem to be the star of that article.

If that turns out to be true Verizon has had one crazy release schedule over the last few months. Their current lineup with the addition of the Nexus and Droid 4 will be killer this holiday season. No one can say Verizon doesn't have enough choices anymore.

I don't think so. The GNex is a higher profile phone. If there were any delays then I don't think it would be because of the Droid 4.

Well 12/8 it is huh. Little note says accessories will be there a week ahead but most stores already have it lol.
Sucks....

Well back to waiting now at least I can charge that to my account then hahahhaha.

This goes to show they should have scrapped the bionic and droid 3 and went with the razr and droid 4 instead.

Actually it shows a lot. If they cared about the nexus they would not potentially launch another high end lte phone the same time. Sorry you can't see the simple facts and that upsets you but its the truth. Plus I never said anything about delaying the release.

How can anyone say that the droid 4 is causing the nexus delays? If that was the case why release the droid 4 and nexus on the same day and not just push the droid 4 a few days or week before the nexus? People read everything how they want without reading what is right before your eyes.

EVER!

It's NEVER happened before. I challenge anyone to give me an example of a time that it has happened. Until then, this "leak" is false, in my opinion.

they also never released a phone on a friday(razr) or monday( rezound) and we all know that isn't the case anymore. What's your point?

I could see it launching same time as droid 4 since the razr and rezound will have been out for a few weeks and maybe verizon thinks releasing the droid 4 same time as nexus would help boost droid sales and lower nexus sales therefore being able to say well it didn't sell well so we are no longer going to carry any other nexus. JMO since verizon seems to hate this phone altogether.
