What is the truth of this whole dabacle?

to question #2.....I was thinking the same thing, why would they demand a return if phone is cominv out in 3 days? Not looking good for a release soon. Why does every freaking oem have cdma issues? If it ain't processor complications with verizon, its software issues....enough already!

Don't post without reading the rest of the comments in the thread. #2 has been debunked. It is irrelevant in any discussion of the release date.

I believe they want it back because it is a violation of their contract with Verizon even if they sold it the night before. So even if it launches this Thursday they would want the phone back to make things right.

Exactly. These few sold Nexus' aren't updated. They're on 4.0.1 which is very old and is known not to work well on the VZW Nexus.
