Update For Nexus Being Pushed Today
According to BritishTurbo, the update for the Nexus (to what version I'm not sure. Could be 4.0.2 or 4.1) is being pushed out right now. Confirmation from the people here who DO have the Nexus would be great.

Re: Update For Nexus Being Pushed Today
I just checked on my GSM version and nothing. Just like some of the Verizon reps haven't heard nothing LOL!

Re: Update For Nexus Being Pushed Today
Another member posted in another thread that they received the update and it was version 4.0.2. I was expecting 4.1.0 though. I'll see if I can find the post amongst all of the threads (needle in a haystack at this point).

Re: Update For Nexus Being Pushed Today
I was playing with a Galaxy Nexus at a local Verizon store today and the system update notification popped up. It was 10.7MB

I'm too lazy to post the link, but check Droid Life. They reported it and have a picture showing it.

Location is irrelevant for updates. It doesn't matter where you are.
And to clear up something: there is no indication whatsoever that this is being distributed to any consumer devices yet. It is probably only meant for test devices, as the last step before a full OTA distribution. If the rumors are true, the fact that this is being distributed NOW bodes well for the Nexus launching tomorrow or Friday. (the rumors were that Verizon was pushing hard for this update to be approved, and once it was they would green light sales) - 12-14-2011, 04:15 PM #25
