Re: Official Battery Life Thread
I felt that for YouTube and Music I got better sound, way better, than with my Dinc. When playing a Google Voice voicemail with speaker it felt a bit weaker.
I ran thru the purchased level of battery after about 4.5 hours. Once it powered down I put it on a charger and giving it a full charge before I boot back up. Not sure if that helps but it is what I am doing

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
haven't gotten it charged above 63% nor has it dropped below 43%. I had it on the charger when I was syncing my apps and obviously unlocking the bootloader.

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
Do they come half charged battery? Looked like mine was but didn't check exact amount of juice left when first activated. But anyways I'm down to 14% since turned on at 10:15 ish (2:20 now) little more than moderate use (downloaded update, birds, ATK) 4g on but not getting 4g service in office where I've been all day. Also turned off auto brightness and turned it up to prob about 75%. Not sure how much this helps but thats mine for ya.

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
I charged mine up all the way when I got it home from the store this morning. When it finished charging I powered it up and haven't really put it down since. Right now I'm at 5h 36m 42s on the battery and it has 8% left.
It's been on wifi the whole time, auto brightness is off on the screen - I have it set manually at 75% or so.
I'm going to let it run all the way down just to see what I can get out of it.
Edit: Got to 6 hours 5 minutes before it hit 1% and I started charging it up again.Last edited by MajorMullet; 12-15-2011 at 04:02 PM.

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
I know it is early but will be especially interested in those who have had other Verizon 4G phones, noticing how battery situation compares on a single charge with other 4G devices, ie Tbolt, Razr, etc.
I'm guessing it will be in the same ballpark. Wish they could find a way to improve life significantly in 4G... - 12-15-2011, 06:51 PM #16
Re: Official Battery Life Thread
Charged up too 100%, I'm down to about 64% after 5 hours 45 minutes. I'm on wifi as well.

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
Got it from the store at 57% and played with it till 3%, recharged and then went on my usage spree.
Browsing, more browsing, more app downloading, games, setting tinkering and it was back down to 3% after about 3:30 hours with some very heavy use.
All 4g
Screen brightness is set to about 35% auto is just way too dim.
Screen was off for about 15 minutes for the entire length of use.
Up to about 500mb of data used.
The screen is the the battery monster with a battery devouring 67%
Now I wonder how it will be with just 3g on, a task for tomorrow I suppose. - 12-15-2011, 11:10 PM #21
Re: Official Battery Life Thread
The extended battery also fits the in the incipio case they have, great case to if you like small and minimal footprint cases.
My battery was at 43% when I left the store. After playing and syncing / installing apps and the update ~2.5 hours worth, I was down to ~38%, did it all through WiFi. On the charger now with the stock battery. Going to see how it fairs. If it's going to do what I think, 10-12 hours, I may take the extended battery back. The Storm has cleared to an Incredible day! Re: Official Battery Life Thread
Finally got it charged about 95% an hour and 20 mins ago. In that time lost 20% batt, but have been.on browers, downloading apps, txting and short phone call. Whole time on 4G. But its not the 4G killing the batt its the screen (i dont have it on auto dim). And i have charged it in my truck, wife's car, and two different wall chsrgers with no heat.

Re: Official Battery Life Thread
OK, I'm a little concerned. I just woke the phone up from sitting plugged in since 11:30 last night and in airplane mode. In 7 minutes I was at 94%, 30 minutes 90%, 40 minutes--still 90%. maybe it just sits there for a long time. I know about the power rollercoaster when on the charger, but that seemed a bit of a drastic drop. My guy at the store said his has been great. I also do have the worst signal in the world at my house. Don't know if that makes a difference right now since I'm on Wifi when at home.
