Any chance that the 4.0.3 update that google pushes out will fix the issues that a lot of us are having?

Overall, I am very pleased with the Galaxy Nexus.

Would anybody know if there is a way on the stock phone launcher to delete individual contacts from recent calls / recently called? On my DroidX i would press and hold and an option would come up to delete the call from recent calls. This isn't the case on the GN. Maybe there is another way?

I'm having text to speech problems

I recently installed Light Flow so I could change the style of LED notifications. After I installed this app, I noticed that text to speech seems to be enabled and my web browser starts reciting the articles or news or any website I'm browsing, and it's incredibly annoying.

Is this happening to anyone else and if so were you able to fix it or does anyone know how to fix text to speech / turn it completely off??

Thanks

In the call log, tap the log entry (not the contact icon or call button), opens up a new page. Hit the menu button up top, "Remove from call log".

As for me, the only issue I've had with my Nexus has been slight vertical banding when it's dim on auto-brightness or manual. Not something I'll notice in day to day use.

Also another thing I won't notice or use anytime, but in Developer options when I check "Show screen updates" the whole screen basically has seizures all the time. I don't have any use for this option but it's something I found.

Try and go into settings>accessibility and make sure in the area that says Talkback, you have that switched off.

BUGS. Voice dictation sucks in browser, as in never accurate. Whilst navigating, phone rebooted on 3g/4g handoff, boo. I know, software solutions are comming. Upside, the curved glass is staying curved making this phone scream first class Nexus. I like my software the way it is intended to be, stay away second hand skin/bloat.

When applying picture to contact profiles, the options that pop up have text that is being chopped off at the top by the specific options "icon."

Just fine in Verizon store. But here at home, where I usually had 3 bars on 3G I have only 1 on 4G at best but most of the time it drops to 3G with only 1 bar, occasionally 2. Very disappointed. Here is something else. This is the last phone I will buy without a removable Memory card- or at least a way to partition part of internal storage as one. It shows up on file managers as an SD card but I had some word and excel files on there. Today, trying to get 4G to work, tech support had me do a factory reset and I find that those files are erased as well. I backed up apps and data but the files did not come back. I may stick with this phone, but if I had known this to this degree going in, I would have waited to upgrade. Luckily I still have copies of the files on the SD card in my Fascinate.

I've seen a few other people with the same issue on other forums, and they all seem to be using Win 7 64bit. Could this be the compatibility of Win 7 64bit?
Same problem here, and I am using Windows XP SP3. I wanted to transfer lots of mp3, mp4, and jpg's to test resolution and video quality. I plug into usb port, I can see the files on my pc, copy them, but when I go to right click to paste them the option is not there. I can see the galaxy nexus files, I just can't paste anything in the folders from my PC.
