I just purchased a pair of GNex phones for me and my wife. We are Blackberry defects and really like what the Nexus is sporting so far today.
However, being new to the Android OS, I'm wondering if there's a native method to changing the vibrate alert pattern for notifications? When getting notifications from my gmail, sms, or phones calls, the vibrate bursts are very short. I am used to vibrate cycles that would vibrate about 2 seconds per cycle. My Nexus would vibrate a fragment of a second then stop. No repeat vibration reminder either.
Is this normal?
I know there are 3rd party apps, like Lightflow, that can adjust the vibrate...but I figured that there has to be a setting somewhere that can customize the vibrate duration or frequency? Even my 3 yr old BB was able to.
