Slow download question

I'm an Android noob, so I'm not sure if this is a phone issue or not, but last night I had 2 bars on 3g and it took an 18.65Mb app about 10 minutes to download from the Android Market.

Was that just the Market being slow or should I be concerned about my radio? An album I bought downloaded fairly quickly but I was on WiFi.

It should not have taken that long. Might have been a busy moment on the network - download a speedtest app - 3G speeds should be between 0.8 and 1.5 Mbps (800-1500 kbps)

ya im having issues w my 3g download speed also and its happens consistently. My speedtest usually comes in around 300-500 kbps on 2-3 bars. But it never registers higher than 650-700 kbps and thats only when Im lucky. On a weird note though my upload speed is always higher than my download speed- WTF- and is anywhere from 550-900 kbps usually around 800. I thought it might be my radio but I went to the vzw store today and side by side signal stregnth was identical to demo nexus -75. next to the razor the nexus was -75 razor -45 and next to the rezound the nexus was -75 rezound -57 so looks liek its everybodys radio.

Also can anybody explain why my upload speed is always significantly higher than my download speed?????
I dont understand seems ass backwards to me

Here's some screenshots of my speed test. The first one u see was at vzw today all the rest are at home 2-3 bars.
This is the only thing I'm dissapointef in w my phone right now.

Look at the one where download is 191 kbps and upload is 456 kbps.
