    Default Breaking News App...??

I'm looking to hear what you guys/gals use to be Alerted on Breaking News... There has been so many times that I've been at work and people get the "Breaking News".... Now I'm not sure if they just happen to be surfing at the time, or getting a FB text, or personal text... but it always seems like I'm missing out.

As an example, for those of us that have the Extreme Weather alerts...and it comes accross the phone via a "Notification", that's what I'm looking for... but not just for weather...

Any thoughts or suggestions...? Thanks in advance...

This has been the easiest way for me without installing another app.

I use the "Breaking News" app from MSNBC. It's lightweight and fast, and although the twitter news stream appears to be a little U.K.-centric, the alerts that it sends to the messaging area of your phone are the straight MSNBC alerts, at the same time they appear on the MSNBC homepage.
