Transferring Music to GNexus
In the process of transferring music to my GNexus, I am noticing that it is taking a very long time to move folders over. Is anyone else experiencing this? Normally I would just use Google Music to stream it but up at school the cell service is horrible and they won't let cell phones connect to the WiFi so if I want to listen to music, needs to be on the phone.
Just went into my music folder, selected a bunch and drag-dropped them in my music folder on the phone using Windows Explorer. Just taking really long. - 12-21-2011, 01:56 PM #2
Re: Transferring Music to GNexus
Try doing smaller groups of files as opposed to one large transfer. That usually helps me when any kind of file transfer hangs up.

Re: Transferring Music to GNexus
That will be my next step since my computer is claiming it will take 4 hours and 45 minutes lol.
Don't think that makes a difference, I am plugged directly into my computer and transferring the songs that are already downloaded on my hard drive. - 12-21-2011, 02:00 PM #6

Re: Transferring Music to GNexus
My biggest gripe with music on the Nexus is if there are songs with the same name such as "intro", instead of asking me if I would like to keep both copies, I'm only allowed to replace or not add. I never had this problem on my Thunderbolt since the system would prompt me to keep both copies.

Try transferring through Google Music. Might work faster.
