Unable to add Facebook connections

Is anyone else unable to add a Facebook connection to a contact. The only connection I am allowed to add is google plus.

I am having the same issue. I upgraded to the newest Facebook app, but this didn't help. When I try to add an account, select Facebook, it does nothing and I think they are both related.

While not related to contact syncing, I've noticed other issues with the Facebook app on the Nexus. The main one is that I can never seem to update my status via the app. Every time I try to, it says there was a problem and my post could not be added at this time. I can usually reply to other posts, and whatnot, but I cannot make new posts of my own within the app.
