Face unlock question/idea
I don't have a Galaxy Nexus, but I plan on getting one when the price drops a little bit.
Anyways, is there an option or an app that you can use in relation to the face unlock feature that bypasses it if it's too dark? Like it would use the sensor really quickly to see if it's dark or light out, and if it's light out go to face unlock, and if it's dark go to the secondary lock screen.
Would this require the phone to be awake and drain more battery?
Is an app like this even possible?

Re: Face unlock question/idea
I've been using Galaxy Nexus for almost a month....
However, I dont' use face unlock anymore... it was fun during the first few days, but became annoying...

Re: Face unlock question/idea
It's not really not a problem. For some reason, it seems that mine does go sometime auto to password input instead of face unlock in the dark. or maybe I just miss the face unlock part?
Regardless, if it doesn't detect something that resembles a face quickly, it fails and goes to your backup method of unlock. I haven't had a problem or complaint about it (though I don't use it ALL the time).
I imagine, though, an app would be able to be made (esp if you have a rooted GN).Sent from my Droid Incredible / Moto Xoom

I believe they already have that on a phone.
