I was wondering the same thing. I like to see all of my unread mail in one place regardless of which email account it's from. Hopefully there's a way.

The ICS email client is a real step backwards from the Froyo version because of the lack of a combined screen with all accounts displayed separately and the inability to respond directly to chosen sections of an incoming email.

    Anyone have a workaround?

Are you sure it isn't the difference between the Android client verses the HTC Sense client?

Look here for a [VZW Coverage Map] to check your area. Select 4G before hitting [Refresh]

I'm pretty sure Anycut from the Market will allow you to create a shortcut to a unified inbox. Don't bother with the widget as that's unreliable just as it was with honeycomb. You can also go with K9 or Kaiten which are better email apps anyway and do allow you to go straight to a unified inbox.

Positive. My previous phone was an OG Droid.

I used to mess with the native email app too... until I figured out how to enable my GMAIL account to poll my pop3 accounts. Now all 5 of my email accounts aggregate into Gmail, which gets pushed to my phone, and is one of the best email clients available on android. Everything in one nice easy inbox, and I don't have to individually sign into each email account when I flash a ROM or get a new phone.

The only caveat would be that you can't poll Exchange accounts.
